Audrey Donovan’s professional journey is a testament to her resilience, adaptability, and relentless pursuit of excellence. With over 40 years of diverse experience under her belt, she’s honed a skill set that is as comprehensive as it is unique. Audrey’s exceptional work ethic and commitment to excellence make her an ideal partner for all your project needs.
Her journey started at her father’s factory, where she learned not just the value of a dollar but also the essence of hard work. There, she experienced first-hand the demands of a bustling work environment, and it served as the foundation for her future success.
Audrey then delved into the automobile industry, selling cars for about 20 years and eventually working her way up to the role of General Manager. Her successful stint in the car sales industry was followed by a decade-long career in corporate leasing in Boston.
In 2003, Audrey ventured into construction. Unable to find a professional who met her exacting standards when building her house in Maine, she took matters into her own hands. This led to the creation of Maine Shore Contracting, managing large and small projects and offering services for septic systems, driveways, and foundations. Her commitment to old-fashioned customer service ensured that her clients always had someone to answer their calls and address their needs.
At the age of 18, Audrey was already a top salesperson in life insurance, health, and variable annuities insurance – even before she was technically old enough to be selling insurance.
Her entrepreneurial spirit led her to establish a computer business, Absolute Memory Computer Products, which she ran successfully. Her business supplied computer products to Dell at a time when giants like IBM and Microsoft were dominating parts inventory. After this venture, she joined the wholesale industry, selling copper, steel, and PVC at United Pipe and Steel in Ipswich, MA.
Throughout her career, Audrey has been the go-to person for help and advice. Her wide-ranging experience and knack for problem-solving made her a valuable asset in any situation. She’s now channeling all that experience into Donovan Solutions, a business built around providing comprehensive, personalized services with a touch of old-fashioned customer service.
